ABOUT OUR INSITITUTE

Government Girls Polytechnic Ballia was established in the year 2004 at holy place of district Ballia.This city is well known by the land of Maharshi Valmiki, Bhrigu, and Dardar with the aim to provide affordable and quality technical education to the girl students of farthest part of the Uttar Pradesh. This institution was established with Two years Post Graduate Diploma course in Computer Application with intake capacity of 30 students. Later in year 2008, Three Years Diploma Courses in Electronics Engineering and Information Technology were added. The present campus spread in 6 acres, a part of which is covered by a main building, Staff Residences, hostel buildings, Smart class room, well-furnished library and classrooms for various faculties including Electronics Engineering, Information Technology and PGDCA, and has the capacity to groom and nurture more than 225 students in various engineering fields every year. Our Institue is committed to provide quality education to the students and enabling them to excel in the field of engineering to cater to the changing and challenging needs of society and industry by contributing to the academic standing and overall knowledge development of the students. Our technical education system provides practical engineering to students to groom up their personalities to such a level that they create a mark not only in the growth and development of our own country but also make a remarkable and positive dent in the developed knowledge economics of the world.
In our insitute there are many LABS like Language Lab, Physics Lab, Chemistry Lab, Workshop Lab, Computer Lab and Electronics Lab. We have FACILITIES like GIRLS HOSTEL, LIBRARY, SPORTS, WiFi CONNECTIONS, IT INFRASTRUCTURE etc.
